OSHA Reporting Requirements for Employers

All Members

October 24, 2017

You should have received an email from AGC yesterday about federal OSHA's full enforcement of its silica standard for construction. In case you didn't, download the Letter to Members from AGC CEO Steve Sandherr. It alerts members to the effective enforcement date (October 23, 2017), the association's advocacy and legal efforts countering the regulation and AGC's educational materials to assist with compliance. Also available are the details on the latest enforcement guidance.

Please note that Illinois is a federal state for private contractors and will implement the silica enforcement as outlined. Illinois is a state program for state, municipal and utility workers. (Per Doug Mahurin, CCMSI).

Download the flyer for CIB's OSHA Construction Silica Standards Seminar scheduled from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Bloomington. You are encouraged to sign-up.
