CIB is attuned to legislative monitoring and involvement because of the impact on daily operations of members. To be a more effective voice in Springfield, CIB is a member of the Illinois Construction Industry Committee along with many other Illinois construction trade associations to provide a strong lobbying voice for construction employers.
